We are re-invigorating the homeware side of the business by cultivating beautiful homeware collections that are also ethical and sustainable. We just love the brand Bombay Duck London! Their products are gorgeous and quirky, and their ethos of kindness to their customers, staff, suppliers and the planet feels complementary to our own. Our first homeware collection will be a range of Bombay Duck London products – we are in the process of finalising the collection and can’t wait to share it with you soon! Simple Steps Towards Sustainability
Thursday 22nd April 2021 is Earth Day – a day that aims to raise awareness of climate change, the importance of creating sustainable habitats, and conservation. These are important issues for world leaders, but we too can be more eco-conscious. The sun is out and while we are not able to visit a tropical paradise abroad at the moment, we can bring some of that exotic destination feeling into our homes with our décor! It has been a couple of weeks of birthday celebrations at Casa De Shabby Nook! Firstly, it was Mrs Shabby’s big day then it was Mr Nook’s big 4-0!! Celebrations were low-key but we couldn’t let them pass without mentioning them! Happy Belated Birthday to the Boss Lady and her Rock (who is always available in emergency postal situations and without whom we would not be here!)
